Yes, the numbers are staggering. Adopting two children out of this environment is not even a blip in the percentages. It will take all of us to make lifesaving drugs available to the parents of these children, and for the children themselves. If ever a phrase like "if we can put a man on the moon, certainly we can (blank)" is appropriate, it is now.
There are many agencies at work making ARVs available for adults and children with HIV/AIDS. We sponsor a child through this one.
