I really try to answer questions as matter-of-fact as I can. I have decided NOT to be embarrassed about things related to the common human experience, and want the kids to be able to talk to me about ANYTHING, and so far they DO.

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during your conversation...hehe It would have given me pointers when Lainey starts asking those questions. She already said once 'I know you and daddy kiss in the bed when you think I am asleep' ha!
