I've been keeping a bag of candy corn in my sock drawer. I finished it tonight, but I can't promise that it'll be the last bag of something I keep in there. :)
PMS chocolate. But I have to hide it from my husband too. I buy a bar of the expensive kind so I have it when I need it. Hmm... gotta restock that today... You know, I have a lot of 'bunny' corn left if you want a refill...
We have one toy that we consider incredibly annoying, loud and plastic. We put it on top of our bookshelves in our bedroom until a meltdown of epic proportions and then we pull it out.
We call it the "Nuclear Option" because we both feel like burnt earth after 1/2 hour of "We dance, we sing when we play the drum..." in English and then Spanish.
My mom hides those bags of the Hershey's Minis from me and my Dad, mostly because Dad will eat them ALL if he finds them and I will eat all the Special Dark bars out of it which are her favorite too. All three of us hide the Mrs. Fischer's potato chips from my sister.
When we were growing up, my mom always drank soda out of her coffee cup - we weren't allowed to have it and we never caught on until our teens! I've been known to use this trick!
Post It's because the girls waste them and it drives me crazy. Actually, all of my fun office supplies. I love office supplies... paper clips, note pads, tape, markers, highlighters, stickers, sticky flags...if they see them, they will whine until I give in and it pains me to see them wasted (same goes for scrapbook paper and stickers). And, HoHo's (in a "decorative" basket on top of the cabinets), not Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls, but Hostess HoHo's...my husband claims they are the same, which is why he doesn't get any either. You must appreciate these things people.
hmmm, we don't have our kiddos yet but I'm with you on the candy corn! I'm an addict. Luckily my husband doesn't like them. We'll have to see if I introduce those to the children! =)
I have a Sam's Club box of Hershey bars in the back of the baking cabinet. When I crave them cold, I slide one behind the mustard and ketchup in the door of the fridge or behind the baking soda in the freezer. I like them cold and snappy.
So funny! I have trained my kids that the red nibs are moms ~ no one eats them. I geuss I may have to re-think this in a couple of months when we get home with 2 more! love ya, jori

Have you tried the Caramel Apple flavor of candy corn? Yum. We went through a bag this weekend.
